Frequently asked questions
Good to know before you book.
Answers about Narra Services, our service catalog, pricing, and booking across Metro Manila.
Services and Booking
Do you offer a warranty on service work?
Yes. Our service work comes with a 60-day warranty. Contact us at inquiry@narraservices.com or +63 956 991 9499 for warranty assistance.
Are your technicians qualified?
Our team includes experienced technicians. We’ll review your request and confirm the service scope before work begins.
Does every service need a site inspection and diagnosis?
No. A separate inspection is needed when the service requires diagnosis, such as troubleshooting or repair. Clearly defined services, such as aircon cleaning, can skip that step; we’ll confirm the scope and price before scheduling.
What happens after I send a booking request?
We review your service details and location, then contact you to confirm the request, agree on an arrival window, and assign a technician. If inspection or diagnosis is needed, we’ll explain the findings and recommended work.
Do you give a written quotation before starting work?
Yes. We provide a written quotation before repair or installation work begins, with parts and labor itemized where applicable. No additional work starts until you approve the quote. Clearly defined services are confirmed with their scope and price before scheduling.
How do you complete and hand over the work?
After completing the approved work, our technician carries out relevant checks and testing, explains what was done, and provides the 60-day warranty. Our team may follow up after the service.
How do I book a service?

Service prices are shown on our pricing page. Parking, permits, parts, difficult access, and work outside the quoted scope may cost extra. We’ll confirm applicable charges before proceeding.
Air Conditioning
How often should I have my aircon cleaned?
For regular use, cleaning every 3 to 6 months is a common guideline. Units that run daily or operate in dusty or humid conditions may need more frequent attention. Cleaning can help maintain airflow and performance; energy use and equipment life also depend on the unit’s condition, installation, and use.
Why is my aircon not cooling properly?
Possible causes include dirty filters or coils, a refrigerant leak, an electrical or component fault, a blocked drain, or a unit that is not suited to the space. A technician can inspect the unit and identify the likely cause.
Why is my aircon leaking water?
A clogged drain, a dirty evaporator coil, or an installation issue can cause water to leak. Turn the unit off if it is leaking and arrange an inspection, especially if water is near ceilings, wiring, or other electrical equipment.
Does my aircon need regular refrigerant refills?
Refrigerant is not normally used up during operation. If the level is low, the system may have a leak that needs to be found and addressed. A technician should inspect the system before refrigerant is added.
What size aircon do I need?
The right capacity depends on room size, ceiling height, sun exposure, insulation, and how many people use the space. Rules of thumb are only estimates; have the room and installation requirements assessed before choosing a unit.
Inverter or non-inverter: which is better?
An inverter unit may use less electricity when it runs for long periods, though it usually costs more upfront. A non-inverter unit may suit shorter or less frequent use. The best choice depends on your usage, budget, room, and the specific models.
Why does my aircon smell bad or make noise?
An unpleasant smell can come from dirt or microbial growth inside the unit. Rattling, buzzing, or grinding may indicate loose parts or a component problem. Turn the unit off if the sound is loud, unusual, or accompanied by smoke or a burning smell, then arrange an inspection.
What aircon services can I book?
We can review repair and installation requests for split, tower, cassette, suspended, concealed, and U-shaped window units. Cleaning and installation pricing depends on unit type and capacity. See the pricing page or contact us to confirm the available scope for your unit.
Do you clean and repair LG, Samsung, Carrier, Daikin, and other aircon brands?
Yes. Our technicians regularly clean, troubleshoot, and install aircon units from brands including LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Carrier, Daikin, Koppel, Kolin, Sharp, Hitachi, and Midea. We’re an independent service provider — not an authorized or official service center for any brand — so we’ll confirm we can help with your specific model before booking.
Electrical Appliances and Electronics
Why does my circuit breaker keep tripping?
A breaker may trip because of an overloaded circuit, a short circuit, a ground fault, or a faulty appliance. Don’t keep resetting a breaker that trips repeatedly. Unplug devices if safe and arrange an inspection by a qualified professional.
Why is my electric bill suddenly higher?
A change in usage, an inefficient or dirty aircon or refrigerator, a faulty appliance, or an electrical issue may contribute. Comparing usage and arranging an inspection can help identify the cause.
Can I use an extension cord for my aircon or refrigerator?
It is generally safer to plug high-load appliances directly into a suitable outlet. An incorrectly rated or damaged extension cord can overheat. Follow the appliance manufacturer’s instructions and ask a qualified electrician about the correct outlet or circuit.
What is a dedicated circuit, and do I need one?
A dedicated circuit supplies one appliance through its own breaker and wiring. It may be recommended for high-load equipment such as an aircon, water heater, or oven, depending on the appliance requirements and the electrical installation. Have a qualified professional assess it.
My appliance has a burning smell or sparks. What should I do?
Stop using it. Turn it off and unplug it only if it is safe to do so; otherwise switch off the relevant breaker if you can do that safely. Keep clear and arrange a qualified inspection before using it again.
Which appliance and electronics services do you offer?
The catalog lists repair and installation options for televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, water heaters, ceiling fans, and microwaves. A check-up is required before we quote appliance or TV repairs; parts and additional work may cost extra.
Do you repair all brands?
Brand and model support can vary by service and issue. Contact us with the appliance brand, model, and problem so we can confirm whether we can assist.
Do you service Samsung, LG, and Panasonic refrigerators and washing machines?
Yes, among other brands — our technicians service refrigerators and washing machines from Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sharp, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Fujidenzo, Condura, Haier, and TCL. We’re an independent repair service, not an authorized or official brand service center, and we’ll confirm the brand and model before booking.
CCTV and Surveillance
What CCTV services can I book?
We offer CCTV installation, adding cameras to an existing system, checkups, and troubleshooting. Share your site and system details so we can confirm the scope. The pricing catalog lists the checkup fee; installation and additional work are quoted based on your requirements.
What should I include when booking a CCTV checkup?
Describe what is not working, how many cameras are affected, and the system or recorder model if you know it. Photos of the equipment or any error message can help our team review the request.
Can you confirm whether my CCTV system can be repaired?
We need to inspect the system and understand the fault before confirming the next steps. Any repair, replacement parts, or additional work is quoted separately.
Electrical Works
What electrical services do you offer?
We can assess installation requests for lights, outlets, switches, and fixtures, as well as wiring or circuit concerns. Our catalog lists the on-site checkup and inspection; installation or repair work is quoted separately after assessment.
Do you provide a quotation before starting electrical work?
Yes. The inspection helps assess the requested work and outline a scope. We’ll explain the applicable price for that service and separately quote additional installation or repair work before proceeding.
What should I do if I notice a burning smell, sparks, or exposed wiring?
Keep people away from the hazard. If you can safely turn off the relevant breaker, do so; do not touch exposed wires or use affected equipment. Contact a qualified professional. If there is an immediate fire or safety risk, contact local emergency services.
